To the students:
Aight now mah lil freedom fighters and children of the revolution.
Ah've been gettin a lotta emails and questions 'bout what the hell is goin on with these damn pills an whatnot. Now, ah know there are some plans going around and ah want y'all ta just hold off 'fore someone does somethin rash. There's plenty'a time for protests an walkouts later. Listen ta Win on this one. The faculty is doin all it can ta fight this and stand up fer yer rights. Causing trouble at this stage helps no one but the outsiders. With'at bein said...
THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS JUST THAT: INFORMATION. IT IS IN NO WAY TO BE CONSTRUED AS ADVICE AND/OR DIRECTION FROM ME OR ANY MEMBERS OF THE FACULTY OR STAFF. IT CAN BE LOOKED UP ON ANY NUMBER OF LEGAL SITES ONLINE AND IS ONLY BEING PLACED HERE TO ALLOW YOU, THE STUDENTS, TO MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION ON OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO YOU.
There's such a thing in this country known and reffered to as The Patients Bill of Rights that was adopted by the U.S. Advisory Commission on Consumer Protection and Quality in the Health Care Industry in 1998. There are different versions recognized on different levels throughout the House, Senate, and State legislatures. All of'em emphasize your autonomy over medical treatment and decisions. Ah will point out three main points that are universally acknowledged:
- Information Disclosure. Consumers have the right to receive accurate, easily understood information and some require assistance in making informed health care decisions about their health plans, professionals, and facilities.
- Participation in Treatment Decisions. Consumers have the right and responsibility to fully participate in all decisions related to their health care. Consumers who are unable to fully participate in treatment decisions have the right to be represented by parents, guardians, family members, or other conservators.
- Consumer Responsibilities. In a health care system that protects consumers' rights, it is reasonable to expect and encourage consumers to assume reasonable responsibilities. Greater individual involvement by consumers in their care increases the likelihood of achieving the best outcomes and helps support a quality improvement, cost-conscious environment.
There's also a bill of rights that was first recognized by the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons in 1990 and then later adopted in 1995 that grants certain freedoms that include, but are not limited to:
- To refuse medical treatment even if it is recommended by their physician(s)
- To be informed about their medical condition, the risks and benefits of treatment and appropriate alternatives
- To refuse third-party interference in their medical care, and to be confident that their actions in seeking or declining medical care will not result in third-party-imposed penalties for patients or physicians
Now ah know yer all angry an scared. Just realize: The school has ta give out the pills. What y'all do do with'em after that is up ta you.

Aight, gather 'round all mah lil'kiddies, mah dreamers in the makin. Listen close an listen well 'cause Ima only gonna say this here. If'n ya miss it, then ya damn well better still have the syllabus I gave ya'll in the beginning of the second semester cause this is all there.
Well... almost all. I suppose I should start this thing off with a warning.
Mr. Jenkins down at the scrap yard just outside of town called me up and said that the past few nights his dogs have been barkin and chasin kids off the property in the middle of the night. Now Ima not gonna name names, but I seem to recall one er two of mah sculpture students showing up ta class with damage that looked similar ta barbed wire marks? It's fer yer own saftey we ask ya kids not to go down there at night on yer own. Last summer some poor fella was looking fer parts under a Honda Civic when the jack gave out an nearly crushed him ta death. I love all mah lil heathens, I don't want nothin ta happen ta ya'll cause of doing stupid teenage shit.
That bein said, he's offered ta let me bring anyone needing supplies down this weekend ta dig around and see if ya'll can find what you need ta finish yer final projects. Lemme know who wants/needs ta go today an tomorrow. If enough are interested we'll break ya up inta groups and make a couple runs on Saturday and Sunday. Please remember that with scrap metal prices what they are, he's making quite a generous donation ta ya'll.
I know it sounds like Ima asking alot, but jus ask the seniors. This is whatcha will be facing durin yer college an art school application process, not to mention finals once ya get there. None of ya'll are just taking this as a silly elective, and I have faith ya'll do fine.

To my fellow sticks in the mud staff members:
I'm bored.
So terribly bored.
We haven't gotten together ta do nothin since my birthday. An that's just not right people.
We need to go to the bar. We need to get liquored up beyond all belief! We need ta have a capture the flag game, or a juice and porn night, or a midnight anime buffet, or get people to shop for cyberskin dildos from the saftey and privacy of my livingroom sofa or christ some kinda potluck dinner or something.
Anyone have any ideas?

To all of my students (that's right, every single last one of ya'll):
Between recent events, the upcoming dance, and todays glorious weather, some of ya'll are a bit to distracted for yer own good. Specially you "Cuzy" when ya nearly took yer thumb off with a grinding tool today. Aight, maybe not 'took off' but you still scared the hell outta Ms. Jenkins. (good one on ya) That being said, in an attempt to prevent any other careless near mishaps:
I DECLARE A MENTAL HEALTH DAY!!!
Don't bother showin up in the studio tomorrow, cause I'll be out with the heathens in the grove. Bring guitars, drums, flutes, whatever various instruments with. Drawing supplies are also welcome. Hell, bring whatever ya damn well like. It's a free period, just enjoy yerself.
Yer all welcome to stay for lunch as well, I'll be having sandwich platters brought up. And the Vegan Cafe will be contributing as well for those who are opposed to lunch meat.
And this will be just like any other MHD I've ever had - attendance is mandatory! I don't care if all you do is sleep under a tree while a squirrel hides nuts in yer pockets, if I don't see yer smiling face yer getting demerits.
Aight?
Aight.
